Modding a Small Pedal Board to fit a Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 Power Supply
Просмотров 9354 месяца назад
A lot of power for a small pedal board! Watch as I modify a small 10" x 14" pedal board to fit a Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12. Isn't this overkill? Probably, but I was having issues using an old Pedal Power 2 because it maxes out at 200mA per pedal and won't power Strymon pedals. The CS12 has plenty of power and can easily power other pedals or auxiliary pedal boards if needed. Special thanks to Za...
Building a Custom Vox Cabinet for Zac Childs' 1964 AC10

Zac Childs asked me to build him a new custom 1x12 Cabinet for the 1964 Vox AC10 he had recently acquired from Dan Strain of Danocaster Guitars. The amp's previous cabinet was in poor aesthetic condition and was made from heavy 3/4" MDF. This is an amazing amp with an interesting history but it needed a major cabinet upgrade. The cabinet turned out to be homemade and was in poor condition with the butt joints becoming loose. Luckily the original baffle board and grill ...

Well for one thing it could cause root fires that spread out underground but in the this case, a mimosa stump, the roots were still pretty much alive and throwing up new shoots. Watch as we fell the tree then, three years later, remove the stump the fun way.

Increased horsepower, safety, blade choice, and dust collection are all demonstrated in this video. This 1948 Delta band saw is now able to cut through anything I can throw at it. I couldn't find much info on the 1 HP Dayton motor but it looks to be from the 60's or 70's and I picked it up at the farm auction for $15. All it needed was a new cord so that was a major score! What I do is cut up the line in half about 3 in to 4 in...then you can easily work the tube in enough so you can grab it with pliers inside the tank... Makes it a whole lot easier because then I can just pull the good part through till what I need

Anyone running across this: Nice Plumb National -- but neither rafting nor cedar pattern. It's a very distinctive pattern of its own and not designed for the uses either cedar or rafting patterns were. Plumb did indeed *make* a rafting pattern (it's their "construction" ax). They're in a Plumb catalog, for sure. But the pattern is distinctly different from their Nationals. That big, fan-shaped blade is the give-away. Biggest problem in mistaking it for a rafting pattern is, you bang that poll on some metal fasteners and it most certainly will deform badly, mushrooming all over, not having a rafting ax's hardened poll.

There is one of these near me that is for sale for $45. There is no motor and the table looks like it has a very heavy coat of rust on it. Other than the missing motor, it appears to be complete. What horsepower and rpm motor should I use with it? Thanks! Also, I love to see kids in the shop learning how to do projects with their dad or mom!

Tonecraft Audio makes this offset wrench specifically for it. I ordered one for myself about a month ago and it worked out well for a very stubborn nut that was extremely tight because the faceplate was bent at a 45 degree angle right at the lip of the lamp bezel. This was on a Brown/Blonde faceplate from a '62 Bassman which are of a thicker material and when bent at the bezel it acted like a compression washer. Helpful Hint: It is very worthwhile to use some penetrating oil and let it sit and take action before attempting to loosen that nut. You only get one or two attempts as you can easily round off a couple of the points on a stubborn nut where the penetrating oil would have been the ticket along with the wrench. The wrench was $12 plus $4 shipping. I live on the east coast and it came from the west coast and I had it in 8 days. www.tonecraftaudio.com/fender-style-jewel-nut-wrench
